This group is business management, consultancy, survey and research services: business management consultancy, business organisation consultancy, market analysis, market research, business appraisals, public relations, efficiency-expert services, etc. Management-consultancy and brand-strategy firms use this group as their core.

Boundaries with neighbouring groups: personnel management and employment agencies are in 3504; secretarial and office functions in 3506; accounting and auditing in 3507; sales promotion and marketing for others in 3503. Agencies offering “full-service marketing” often file 3501, 3502 and 3503 together (practical tip).

In 2026 “construction-project cost management” was added. This group has no official notes; many items are similarly worded (e.g. business management assistance, commercial-and-industrial management assistance, business management consultancy), so simply choose the standard name rather than drafting your own.
