This similar group is similar to Part (2) of 4401, and is cross-searched with retirement homes, nursing homes (non-medical), sanatoriums, convalescent homes, sanatoriums (clinics or small private hospitals) and poorhouses in 4203 in the 7th and earlier editions.

Elderly-care centres, nursing homes and convalescent homes are in Part (2) of 4401 of Class 44, so care institutions usually file both classes (practical tip). No additions or deletions to this group in 2026.
