This similar group is similar to heat-insulating refractory materials in 1705, and is cross-searched with insulating refractory materials in 1706 in the 10th and earlier editions.

This group covers refractory bricks, fireclay, refractory sand, non-metal refractory building materials, etc. Official note: this group is similar to heat-insulating refractory materials in 1705. In 2026, “refractory stone for building” was added. Refractory materials for industrial furnaces are also filed in this group (practical tip).

Data version: CNIPA Table of Similar Goods and Services, 2026 text (based on the 13th edition of the Nice Classification, NCL 13-2026, in force since 1 January 2026).
