This similar group is cross-searched with the accepted goods automobile wiring harnesses in 1202 in the 11th and earlier editions, the accepted goods motorcycle wiring harnesses in 1203 in the 10th and earlier editions, and fibre-optic cables in 0907 and cable junction sleeves in Part (4) of 0913 in the 9th and earlier editions;

2. fibre-optic cables are similar to Part (7) of 0913.

This group covers electric wires, cables, fibre-optic cables, telephone wires, insulated copper wire, cable connection sleeves, etc. Official notes: fibre-optic cables are similar to the optical fibres in Part (7) of 0913; this group is cross-searched with automobile wiring harnesses in 1202 in the 11th and earlier editions, motorcycle wiring harnesses in 1203 in the 10th and earlier editions, and fibre-optic cables in 0907 and cable junction sleeves in Part (4) of 0913 in the 9th and earlier editions.

A cable company's prior search should include Parts (4) and (7) of 0913 and the historical editions above; cable connectors and junctions are now in Part (4) of 0913, and this group has only cable connection sleeves (practical tip).
