2. goods protected across similar groups: ionisation apparatus for the treatment of air or water (Part (1) of 1106, Part (1) of 1110);
3. Part (1) is cross-searched with gas scrubbers (parts of gas installations) in 1107 in the 10th and earlier editions and with garment steamers in 0924 in the 9th and earlier editions;
4. electric clothes dryers are similar to 0724;
5. fabric steamers are similar to irons for pleating and clothes irons in 0808, and are cross-searched with irons in 0808 in the 12th and earlier editions and electric irons in 0924 in the 9th and earlier editions.

Official notes: the parts are not similar to one another; the cross-group protected goods “ionisation apparatus for the treatment of air or water” (Part (1) of 1106, Part (1) of 1110); electric clothes dryers are similar to the washing machines in 0724; fabric steamers are similar to clothes irons in 0808.
In 2026, “steam cabinets for cleaning and freshening clothing” was added to Part (1). Air-purifying preparations are in 0503 of Class 5, and air-conditioner installation and repair is in 3706 of Class 37 (practical tip).
