This group covers pigments, metals in powder form for painting, white lead, carbon black (pigment), titanium dioxide (pigment), etc. Official notes: the cross-group protected goods “colourants” (0201, 0202); titanium dioxide (pigment) is similar to industrial titanium dioxide in Part (3) of 0102.
Pigments for painting are in this group, but painting implements such as brushes and palettes are in Class 16; printing inks are in 0204; paints and coatings are in 0205 (practical tip). No additions or deletions to this group in 2026.
