This group covers basic papers: paper, wood-pulp paper, parchment, washi, gauze paper, etc. Official note: paper is similar to 1602, 1603, 1604, 1605 and the first paragraph of 1609, and is cross-searched with self-adhesive paper in 1615 in the 10th and earlier editions.

Filing “paper” makes the mark similar to several paper-product groups in Class 16, giving the widest similarity-search scope; paper pulp is in 0116 of Class 1 (practical tip). No additions or deletions to this group in 2026.
