1. This similar group is cross-searched with pillow mats in 2702 in the 11th and earlier editions;
2. pillows and down pillows are similar to bed sheets and pillowcases, pillowcases and decorative cushion covers in 2406;
3. cushions are cross-searched with leather cushions in 1802 in the 10th and earlier editions and seat cushions (not of paper) and textile cushions in 2407 in the 8th and earlier editions;
4. reusable changing mats for babies are similar to changing cloths for babies in 2406.
Practice notes (J&C)
This group covers pillows, cushions, mattresses for beds, inflatable pillows not for medical use, straw mattresses, pet mats, etc. Official notes: pillows are similar to pillowcases in 2406; cushions are cross-searched with leather cushions in 1802 and seat cushions in 2407 in former editions; reusable changing mats for babies are similar to changing cloths for babies in 2406.
In 2026, meditation cushions, yoga bolsters and yoga cushions were added (yoga mats are in 2703 of Class 27, and yoga blocks and yoga straps are in 2807 of Class 28). Bedding brands should also search 2406 of Class 24; pillows for medical use and magnetic therapy pillows are checked against this group or Class 10 (practical tip).
