Notes on similar group 4306

1. The services in the different parts of this similar group are not similar to one another;
2. Part (5) consists of single services, and the paragraphs are not similar to one another;
3. Part (1) is cross-searched with rental of tables, chairs, table linen and glassware in 4227 in the 7th and earlier editions;
4. the first paragraph of Part (5) is similar to rental of lighting apparatus for theatres or television studios in 4105.
Practice notes (J&C)
This group has five parts, which are not similar to one another: (1) furniture rental, tableware rental, etc.; (2) rental of cooking apparatus, rental of hotpot equipment (added in 2026), etc.; (3) rental of water dispensers, rental of beverage-dispensing machines, etc.; (4) rental of kitchen sinks and worktops; (5) rental of lighting apparatus, rental of quilts, rental of carpets (not similar to one another). Rental of office equipment was deleted from 3506 of Class 35 in 2026, while rental of office furniture remains in Part (1) of this group (practical tip).
