1. Goods protected across similar groups: ironmongery (0607, 0608, 0609), small items of metal hardware (0607, 0608, 0609);

2. hand-held metal flagpoles are cross-searched with flagpoles in 2003 in the 10th and earlier editions.

This group covers ironmongery, small items of metal hardware, metal ferrules, metal doorbells (non-electric), metal key rings, bells, etc. Official notes: the cross-group protected goods “ironmongery” and “small items of metal hardware” (0607, 0608, 0609); hand-held metal flagpoles are cross-searched with flagpoles in 2003 in the 10th and earlier editions.

Small everyday metal articles that have a more specific group (such as containers in 0613 or utensils in 0612) should be filed in that specific group; this group is the catch-all (practical tip). No additions or deletions to this group in 2026.
