This group covers dyes, mordants, wood stains, shoe dyes, leather dyes, etc.; it does not include food colourants. Official note: the cross-group protected goods “colourants” belong to both 0201 and 0202.
Food colourants are in 0203, hair dyes in 0306, and tattoo ink in Part (2) of 0204; textile printing and dyeing services are in Class 40 (practical tip).
In 2026, “dyestuff paper for Easter eggs” was changed to “dyestuff paper for eggs”.
