2. Part (1) is cross-searched with spirulina (non-medical nutritional products) in 3005 in the 9th and earlier editions.
Practice notes (J&C)
This group has two parts, which are not similar to one another: (1) edible seaweed extracts; (2) fish (not live), shrimp, crab, caviar, fish fillets, sea cucumbers, etc. In 2026, “seaweed” was added to the heading and note of Class 29, and “processed seaweed” was added to 2905. Live aquatic products are in 3104 of Class 31, canned aquatic products are in 2903, and fish-flavoured condiments are in 3016 of Class 30 (practical tip).
