Notes on similar group 2002

Official notes (CNIPA Table of Similar Goods and Services, 2026 text; J&C reference translation)

1. Non-metal baskets are similar to bamboo baskets in 2005;

2. bread baskets for bakeries are similar to bread baskets for domestic use and bread bins in 2101, and are cross-searched with bread baskets (for domestic use) in 2101 in the 10th and earlier editions;

3. non-metal barrels and non-metal vats are similar to buckets and pails in 2106;

4. non-metal towel dispensers are cross-searched with fixed non-metal towel dispensers in 2012 in the 11th and earlier editions;

5. non-metal tissue dispensers and non-metal toilet-paper dispensers are cross-searched with tissue boxes and toilet-paper dispensers in 2106 in the 11th and earlier editions.

This group covers non-metal containers for storage and transport, non-metal barrels, non-metal pallets, plastic transit boxes, casks, non-metal baskets, corks, etc. Official notes: non-metal baskets are similar to bamboo baskets in 2005; non-metal barrels are similar to buckets in 2106; bread baskets for bakeries are similar to bread baskets for domestic use in 2101.

Changes in 2026: non-metal soap dispensers were added; cork stoppers were deleted; “crates” was changed to “non-metal crates for storage and transport”. Metal containers are in 0613 of Class 6, and paper and plastic packaging is in 1609 of Class 16 (practical tip).
