1. This similar group is cross-searched with office requisites except furniture in 1611 in the 11th and earlier editions;

2. letterpress plates, offset plates and electrotype plates are similar to printing plates, offset plates, offset zinc plates and foreign-language stencils (for printing) in 0705;

3. franking machines for office use and postage meters for office use are cross-searched with mail stamping machines in 0902 in the 9th and earlier editions.

This group covers typewriters, duplicators, inking ribbons, letterpress plates, offset plates, electrotype plates, franking machines for office use, etc. Official notes: letterpress plates, offset plates and electrotype plates are similar to printing plates and offset plates in 0705; franking machines for office use are cross-searched with mail stamping machines in 0902 in the 9th and earlier editions. In 2026, “portable printing sets (office supplies)” was deleted. Printers are in 0901 of Class 9, and photocopiers are in 0903 (practical tip).
