Notes on similar group 1605

Official notes (CNIPA Table of Similar Goods and Services, 2026 text; J&C reference translation)

1. Goods in the different parts of this similar group are not similar to one another;

2. this similar group is similar to paper in 1601;

3. Part (1) is similar to stationery, school supplies (stationery), office stationery in 1611 and writing materials in 1614, and is cross-searched with paper garlands in 2606 in the 12th and earlier editions, office requisites except furniture in 1611 in the 11th and earlier editions, and self-adhesive paper in 1615 in the 10th and earlier editions;

4. calendars are similar to the printed publications in Part (1) of 1606;

5. paper (stationery) and writing paper are similar to copying paper (stationery) and carbon paper in 1602;

6. printed matter is similar to 1606 and the first paragraph of 1607;

7. cigar bands are cross-searched with cigar rings in Part (2) in the 11th and earlier editions.

Practice notes (J&C)

This group has two parts: (1) printed matter, notepads, calendars, photograph albums, business cards, invitation cards, paper garlands, sticky notes, etc.; (2) cardboard tubes, papier-mâché statuettes, etc. Official notes: the parts are not similar to one another; Part (1) is similar to stationery and office stationery in 1611 and writing materials in 1614; calendars are similar to printed publications in 1606; paper (stationery) and writing paper are similar to copying paper in 1602.

Cultural-creative and gift companies centre on Part (1) and also search 1606 and 1611; paper packaging is in 1609 (practical tip). No additions or deletions to this group in 2026.
