Notes on similar group 0505

1. The first paragraph is similar to the first paragraph of 0105, to plant growth regulators and plant biostimulants in 0109 and to hormones for ripening fruit in 0113, and is cross-searched with hormones for fruit ripening in 0113 in the 9th and earlier editions;

2. preparations for destroying dry rot fungus, microbicides, soil-sterilising preparations and germicides for agricultural use are similar to fungicides, bactericides, germicides, sanitary disinfectants and disinfectants in 0501 and to disinfectants for chemical toilets in 0503, and are cross-searched with sewage disinfectants and sewage disinfecting preparations in 0503 in the 8th and earlier editions;

3. parasiticides are similar to antiparasitic preparations and parasiticides in 0501.

This group has two paragraphs: the first is agricultural chemicals (insecticides, herbicides, rodenticides, soil-sterilising preparations, germicides for agricultural use, etc.) and the second is household pest-repelling and pest-killing products (mosquito-repellent incense, fly paper, mothballs, mothproofing agents, etc.). Official notes: the first paragraph is similar to 0105, plant growth regulators in 0109 and hormones for ripening fruit in 0113; soil-sterilising preparations and germicides for agricultural use are similar to disinfectants in 0501 and disinfectants for chemical toilets in 0503; parasiticides are similar to antiparasitic preparations in 0501.

Agrochemical companies usually cover 0105, 0109 and 0505 together; household mosquito-repellent incense and liquid mosquito repellents are filed in the second paragraph of this group, while mosquito-repellent wristbands are checked against Class 5 and Class 10 by form (practical tip). No additions or deletions to this group in 2026.
