This group covers non-metal ropes, hemp ropes, packing straps, rope ladders, ropes for hammocks, etc.; there are no official notes. Metal cables are in 0605 of Class 6, textile threads are in Class 23, and mountaineering ropes are checked against this group or Class 28 by use (practical tip). No additions or deletions to this group in 2026.
