This group includes batteries of all kinds, accumulators, chargers, power banks (rechargeable batteries), solar cells, etc. Official note: solar cells and solar panels for electricity generation are cross-searched with metal roof panels incorporating photovoltaic cells in 0603 and non-metal roof panels incorporating photovoltaic cells in 1909 in the 11th and earlier editions — a photovoltaic company's prior search should include the historical editions of Classes 6 and 19.

In 2026, “nuclear batteries” was added.

Battery-replacement services for electric vehicles are in Class 37 (added in 2026 to 3707, 3708 and 3709, which are protected across those three groups), not in this group; charging and battery-swap operators should also consider Class 37 (practical tip).

Acidometers for batteries are in Part (3) of 0910, while battery plates and battery boxes are in this group, so check item by item.
