This group covers wrapping paper, paper bags, paper boxes, plastic packaging bags, cling film, paper rubbish bags, etc. Official note: the first paragraph of this group is similar to paper in 1601. Note 1 to 0601 of Class 6 provides a cross-search with the accepted goods aluminium foil for cooking and tin foil for cooking of this group in the 12th and earlier editions (aluminium foil 060270 is now in 0601 of Class 6).

Packaging companies should note: paper and plastic packaging is in this group, metal packaging containers are in 0613 of Class 6, non-metal containers are in 2002 of Class 20, and foam-plastic cushioning packaging is in Class 17 (practical tip). No additions or deletions to this group in 2026.
