1. Goods in the different parts of this similar group are not similar to one another;
2. Part (1) is cross-searched with self-closing fuel nozzles in 0753 in the 10th and earlier editions and with self-regulating fuel pumps, fuel dispensing pumps for service stations, petrol pumps for service stations and computer-metered fuel dispensers in 0902 in the 9th and earlier editions;
3. Part (2) is similar to metal valves (not machine parts), metal drain traps (valves) and metal water-pipe valves in 0602, and is cross-searched with metal valves (not machine parts) in 0602 in the 10th and earlier editions;
4. Part (3) is cross-searched with superchargers in 0726 and condensing installations in 0753 in the 8th and earlier editions;
5. automobile oil pumps, automobile water pumps, oil pumps for automobile engines and petrol pumps for automobile engines are cross-searched with automobile parts and automobile accessories in 1202 and other goods belonging to this similar group in the 7th and earlier editions;
6. hydraulic oil filters are similar to filters (parts of machines or engines) in 0750.

Valve companies should file in Part (2) of 0749 and in 0602 of Class 6 and 1108 of Class 11; household water pumps and air-conditioner compressors are filed in this group (practical tip). No additions or deletions to this group in 2026.
