1. This similar group is cross-searched with rice hulling machines in 0709 in the 10th and earlier editions and with tea-picking machines in 0708 in the 7th and earlier editions;

2. spraying machines are similar to sprayers for insecticides (hand tools) and insecticide spraying guns in 0803, and are cross-searched with insect sprayers (hand tools), insecticide sprayers (hand tools) and sprayers for insect control in 0803 in the 9th and earlier editions;

3. drainage machines are similar to irrigation and drainage machines for agriculture in 1108.

This group covers agricultural machinery, harvesting machinery, ploughs, threshing machines, grain hullers, spraying machines, drainage machines, etc.; it does not include small farm implements. Official notes: spraying machines are similar to sprayers for insecticides (hand tools) in 0803; drainage machines are similar to irrigation and drainage machines for agriculture in 1108; this group is cross-searched with rice hulling machines in 0709 in the 10th and earlier editions.

In 2026, “harvesting robots for agriculture” was added. Hand-operated farm implements are in 0802 of Class 8, tractors are in 1202 of Class 12, and agricultural-machinery rental is in 4404 of Class 44 (practical tip).
