This entry was transferred from Class 42 to Class 43 due to the restructuring of Class 42 that was implemented in the 8th edition of the Nice Agreement. On 06-20-2013, this 01-01-2002 entry was modified by inserting "general purpose" to make clear the nature of the services in Class 43. The arena facilities described in this entry may be used by the temporary occupants for a variety of purposes. Although services involving provision of general purpose facilities, such as convention centers and exhibition halls, are classified in Class 43, services involving provision of specialized facilities/facilities for a particular purpose are classified according to the intended purpose, e.g., providing facilities for business meetings in Class 35; providing sports facilities in Class 41.
