02-13-2014: E-liquids comprised of propylene glycol are classified in Class 1 because the goods are in the nature of chemicals. E-liquids comprised of flavorings, other than essential oils, are classified in Class 30, because Flavorings [other than essential oils] is classified in Class 30. On 01-01-2015, this 02-13-2014 entry was transferred from Class 1 to Class 34 in compliance with the Nice Classification, Tenth edition, version 2015, effective 01-01-2015. The goods are classified in Class 34 as smokers' articles by analogy to "Liquid nicotine solutions for use in electronic cigarettes" which was added to the Alphabetical List in Class 34.
