Official English notes
12-10-2009 - "building material" in brackets was added to the 7-20-04 trilateral entry. Although the most common use of gypsum is as a building material, it can also be used as a fertilizer and that use would put the goods in Class 1. An entry for gypsum as a fertilizer is in Class 1 so it was necessary to qualify this entry in Class 19 to make it clear that it is the more common building gypsum in Class 19. On 01-01-2018, this 12-10-2009 entry "gypsum [building material]" was changed by inserting "for use as building materials" and deleting the bracketed wording "[building material]," to clarify the nature of the goods and distinguish them from gypsum for use as a fertilizer in Class 1.
