On 09-12-2013, this 01-01-1995 entry was modified from "Temporary tattoos" to the current wording to make clear the rationale for classification in Class 16. As previously written, the ID could be interpreted to include "temporary tattoo sprays and stencils" in Class 3. Temporary tattoos are non-permanent images or designs on the skin resembling real tattoos that can be drawn (via markers or ink), painted (via face or body paints), airbrushed (via ink or body paints) or transferred (via transfers) to the skin. Therefore, the "transfer" form of the removable tattoos must be indicated to justify Class 16. Note that "temporary tattoo transfers for use as cosmetics" are in Class 3 as beautification or appearance enhancing items.
