Official English notes
The term "distribution," as it is used in this ID Manual entry, refers to the activity of making the motion picture available to movie theatres for display to the public. The motion picture is returned to the producer after the display. The term "distribution" does not refer to telecommunications services, distributorship services, retail or wholesale store services, or transportation of hard goods, such as DVDs featuring motion pictures. Please see TMEP §1402.11(f).
