NOTE: On 12-06-2012, this 12-11-2008 entry "Display protector to provide shade and privacy for electronic devices having screens" was amended to justify classification in Class 9. Since these goods are specially adapted for use with a particular electronic device, classification of the electronic device controls classification of the screen protector. As previously written, the ID would include display protectors or plastic films for gaming devices since all game apparatus are in Class 28 because "games and playthings" are in the Class Heading under the 10th Edition. Thus, the ID should indicate the specific electronic device for proper classification.
