05-06-2010 - This refers to computer printers only. Printing machines are in Class 7. It was included in the Manual because this is now the most common understanding of the term - it is recognized as referring to computer printers in Class 9. 01-01-2016: On 01-01-2016, this 07-20-2004 entry was modified to add "Document" in order to clarify the nature of the goods and the justification for classifying the goods in Class 9. Printing machines, such as 3D printers, are classified in Class 7.
