On 01-01-2017, this 10-07-2010 entry was modified by deleting the bracketed wording "[for rigid pipes]" because it is not necessary. Under Nice 11-2017, metal fittings for pipes, both flexible and rigid pipes, are classified in Class 6, and non-metal fittings for pipes, both flexible and rigid pipes, are classified in Class 17 because they function as insulating materials. Pipe fittings are no longer classified in Class 19.
