This entry was transferred from Class 42 to Class 45 due to the restructuring of Class 42 that was implemented in the 8th edition of the Nice Agreement. 11-4-10 - The 1-1-2002 entry was amended to add the words "for safety purposes." Protective clothing and equipment offers protection in a life threatening situation, i.e., is life preserving or protects against fire, accidents and irradiation.
