Electronic monitoring services involving the use of computers, sensors, or other technology to detect and measure a physical property or observe a physical condition are classified in Class 42 as technology services. These electronic monitoring services are limited to electronic data collection only. Monitoring services rendered for a particular purpose must indicate the purpose in the ID, and they must be classified according to the purpose of the activity.
