This description encompasses the testing and technical analysis related to establishing criteria, which are later applied by accrediting bodies. This description should not be used by accrediting bodies (unless the accreditors are performing the services for others). This description should not be used in connection with accreditation marks, which are used by third parties to indicate that their services are "accredited" or approved by the accrediting body. See TMEP §1306.06 et seq.
