On 01-01-2021, this 01-01-2012 entry was modified from "Photographs in the field of {indicate subject matter or field, e.g., automobiles, cats and dogs, etc.} [printed]" to "Printed photographs in the field of {indicate subject matter or field, e.g., automobiles, cats and dogs, etc.}." Effective 01-01-2021, identifications for photographs must indicate if the photographs are "printed," "downloadable," or "recorded on computer media" (or equivalent wording) for proper classification. Photographs are classified in Class 16, if printed, and in Class 9, if downloadable or recorded on computer media. Printed photographs is acceptable wording; further specification is acceptable, but it is not required.
