On 01-01-2015, this 07-20-2004 entry for "subcutaneous valves for implantation" was amended to include the material composition of the valves to make clear the rationale for classifying in Class 10, and in compliance with the Nice Classification, Tenth edition, version 2015, effective 01-01-2015. Note that "implants comprised of living tissue" is classified in Class 5.
