Ornaments of precious metal are in Class 14. 01-01-2017 - The ID Manual entry "Ornaments of precious metal" in Class 14 was modified to "Ornaments of precious metal in the nature of jewelry" on 04-11-2014 to clarify the type of ornaments. Holiday ornaments of precious metal [not tree ornaments] are classified in Class 14. On 03-24-2022, this 06-04-2009 entry "Holiday ornaments of common metal [not tree ornaments]" was modified to ""Holiday ornaments of common metal, other than Christmas tree ornaments" to incorporate the necessary bracketed wording into the identification to clarify the nature of the goods. Christmas tree ornaments, except lights, candles and confectionery, are classified in Class 28.
