01-04-2006: Original entry "Pipe fittings, namely, rosettes" in Class 17; 10-07-10: Inserted the words "Metal" and "[for rigid pipes]" to make clear the nature of the goods, and transferred the entry to Class 6. The original entry was indefinite, and it was incorrectly classified in 17 due to a translation problem in the Nice Agreement's Alphabetical List. On 01-01-2017, this 10-07-2010 entry was modified by deleting the bracketed wording "[for rigid pipes]" because it is not necessary. Under Nice 11-2017, metal fittings for pipes, both flexible and rigid pipes, are classified in Class 6, and non-metal fittings for pipes, both flexible and rigid pipes, are classified in Class 17 because they function as insulating materials. Pipe fittings are no longer classified in Class 19.
