On 01-01-2016, this 07-20-2004 entry was modified to add "for industrial purposes" to make clear the purpose of the goods and the justification for classification in Class 1. "Gelatine glue for stationery or household purposes" is classified in Class 16. Certain specialized adhesives that are not used for stationery or household purposes are classified in classes other than Class 1, e.g., surgical glues, in Class 5, and adhesives for cosmetic use, in Class 3. Please consult the Manual for examples of adhesives in other classes.
