Official English notes
01-01-2023 - Under Nice 12-2023, the Alphabetical List entry "dispensers for dog waste bags, fixed, of metal" in Class 6 was changed to "dispensers of metal for dog waste bags." In addition, "dispensers, not of metal, for dog waste bags" was added to the Nice Alphabetical List in Class 20. See also "Dog waste bag dispensers adapted for use with leashes" in Class 18. Generally, under Nice 12-2023, dispensers are considered storage containers for holding items and dispensing them, as needed. They are classified in Class 6 when made of metal and in Class 20 when they are not made of metal, regardless of whether the dispensers are fixed or un-fixed, automatic or non-automatic. Please consult the ID Manual for specific exceptions to this general rule.
